Today the plan was to go to Hodad’s, a famous Burger place in Ocean Beach. When I arrived, the Hodadies line was out the door and around the block. Luckily I had heard good things about a place a few blocks away called Nico’s.
The menu instantly draw’s your attention to the shrimp burrito. The cartoon singing shrimp beckoned me with a siren’s song, and at only $5.80, I could not resist.
It turned out to be a great decision, packed with a whole mess of shrimp and rice in a mild tomato-based sauce. It tasted great, but lacked the variety of ingredients present in most other burrito options. If Nico’s added some guacamole to this bad boy it would easily rank a 9/10 on the Burritometer.
